MATERNITY & NEWBORN PHOTOGRAPHEr

HUDSON, N.Y.

Hi, i'm krista!

I know being a mom can be...well, a lot.

Documenting it shouldn't be.

After four kids of my own, I can tell you:

it's the most wonderful, exhausting, overwhelming, fulfilling experience you will ever live.

It's a blur.

And yes, it can be daunting.

BUT

You were made for this.

I'm convinced of that.

I see you, mama.

When I photograph moms, I show them what I see:

Mother to Mother, Woman to Woman.

Friend to Friend.

You deserve to be seen, celebrated, cherished, loved.

I'm here to do that for you.

Ever wonder what will happen to "You" when you have your baby?

My first baby was born two weeks before my birthday. Up until that point, my birthday had been kind of a big deal. Birthdays are my thing. I am a firm believer in celebrating all week.

Suddenly, my focus shifted entirely to the tiny, helpless, beautiful little person in my arms. Both for me and everyone around me...

and understandably so.

I felt...invisible.

As moms, we willingly sacrifice for our babies.

Before they are even born, we give up foods they don't "like,"

avoid foods that aren't safe for them,

we exercise, take all the supplements, and do everything we can to ensure they are off to a good start.

In the midst of all our efforts, it's easy to feel unseen.

If you're questioning what will happen to "you" in the whirlwind of motherhood,

feeling uncertain about your new role, or worried that you might feel "different,"

I want you to know that you will still be you—only MORE.

You were made for this, and I see you.

Let’s capture your unique journey together.

With joy,
